Plast-Ex Summit

In a unique partnership, CPIA and Plastics in Canada magazine have agreed to organize and present a top level executive forum that will tackle the key issues facing the plastics industry. Named the Plast-Ex Summit, the one day event will be held every May, including those years coinciding with the Plast-Ex trade show.

The 2008 version of the event is scheduled for the Rogers Centre (formerly Sky Dome) in downtown Toronto. The event will include a full day of top level presentations and panel discussions, followed by a reception, dinner and a Blue Jays ball game.

Topics and speakers have been identified by a Plast-Ex Summit advisory committee chaired by Larry Pascucci, General Manager of Negri Bossi for Canada. The general theme for the 2008 edition will explore the current business case for investing in Canadian manufacturing and the Canadian plastics industry in particular.

Capacity at the event is extremely limited and attendance will be focused on senior executives who have responsibility for investment decisions.
